Val di Sole is one of the largest skiing areas in the western Trentino with 3 main ski areas...

  • Peio in the Stelvio National Park catering for all levels of skier and boarder but with just 16km of pistes - it is ideal for beginners and families
  • Dolomiti di Brenta incorporating the resorts of Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo giving 150km of connected pistes reaching up to 2500m
  • Passo Tolale and the Presena glacier at 3000m. This area provides 60km of pistes and depending upon snow conditions, is skiable most days of the year, and
  • Peio is part of the "SKIRAMA DOLOMITI Adamello Brenta" carousel covered by a single lift pass giving a huge 380km of pistes served by 150 lifts - you will certainly need your piste map to navigate this huge area. The other resorts on the carousel are:

    • Ponte di Legno
    • Andalo-Fai della Paganella
    • Monte Bondone
    • Folgaria-Lavarone

All the pistes flowing down Monte Vioz roll right up the the village meaning that lots of the ski chalets and apartments offer ski-in, ski-out which is a big plus if you are on a family ski holiday.
