Skiing around the Stubai Valley is more for the intermediate skier and boarder with some 140km of pistes to explore.

The piste map shows the 4 main ski areas in the Stubai Valley of....

• Schlick 2000 above the village of Fulpmes
• Elfer above Neustift
• Mieders, and
• Stubai Glacier which is the main and best area with 110km of slopes including 50km of green & blue pistes.

Skiing on the Stubai glacier starts very early in the season, usually around the beginning of October and going right through until June depending upon the snow conditions. If you have never skied in early summer, the Stubai glacier is a good place to try - warm and sunny, normally good snow conditions and uncrowded slopes - this takes some beating!

Most people who visit the Stubai Valley tend to stay in Neustift or Fulpmes as they are the most lively villages. The ski chalets are out of this world, tucked away along the valley floor yet close to the slopes and ideal for family ski holidays.
