How to get to Gressoney-La-Trinite
By plane
The closest airport to Gressonet-la-Trinite is Turin with airport transfer times of around 90 minutes. Alternatively, there are airport transfers from Geneva and Milan to Gressoney but these take an extra hours drive.
By train
The nearest railway station is at Châtillon/Saint-Vincent (info and timetables www.trenitalia.it). From Châtillon, and also from Turin and Milan, there is a coach service to and from Gressoney (info and timetables www.savda.it).
By car
Driving to Gressoney is relatively straight forward. Once on the A5 Torino-Aosta motorway, take the exit sign-posted Pont Saint Martin exit and then take the regional highway 44 to Lys Valley. From France, you need to follow the directions to Chamonix - Mont Blanc and head through the tunnel. Once on the Italian side, you pass Courmayeur on the A5 before taking the Pont Saint Martin exit.
Regional highway 44 is a fantastic drive if you enjoy winding roads with hairpin bends. It leads through a series of villages to Gressoney-Saint-Jean. Continue on the 44 until the Monte Rosa glacier comes in to view which is when you will arrive at Gressoney-La-Trinité.
