Cervinia ski holidays Skiing & snowboarding in Cervinia - Matterhorn
Overview
Cervinia ski holidays - overlooked by the mighty Matterhorn, Cervinia is one of the highest resorts in the Alps at 2050m and is a fantastic modern family ski resort with guaranteed snow and a long season.
With the connection to Zermatt over the Swiss border and the small Italian resort of Valtournenche (1524m), there is over 350km of pistes to explore. From the top lift, you are 6km from the village and have 1400m of vertical to navigate!
Cervinia’s compact pedestrianised centre has a lively international feel and the streets are lined with boutiques, cafes, wine bars and fatastic restaurants - definitely a place that knows how to enjoy life off the slopes.

Our view on Cervinia ski holidays
We think Cervinia is a world class all year round ski resort with excellent facilities on and off the slopes in winter or summer and also a great resort for family ski holidays.
The only downside is the havoc the high winds can play at the top especially after a fresh snowfall - the lifts often close which does limit the scope of where you can ski. Having said that, the high winds normally occur very early in the season...
