The ski area is shared with Kaprun and is spread over the Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe mountains and the high altitude Kitzsteinhorn glacier where you can also ski in the summer.
Zell am See offers excellent apres-ski with plenty of lively cafes, bars and restaurants plus a generous selection of shops from souvenirs to designer clothes.
