How to get to Veysonnaz
Ski holidays in Veysonnaz are ideal for families but also for summer holidays with lots of activities from hiking and mountain biking to white water rafting. The resort is fortunate to be close to several international airports but the closest one is Sion.
By plane
Airport transfers from Sion to Veysonnaz take just 30 minutes to climb up the 8km mountain road. Other airport transfers are from Geneva, Zurich and the Milan airports.
By car
Veysonnaz is approximately a 2 hours drive from Geneva airport. From the airport, follow the directions for Sion on the A9 motorway A9 and exit at Sion Ouest depending from which direction you are coming, and then follow directions to Nendaz – Veysonnaz for 13km to reach the resort.
In Switzerland the motorway tax sticker is obligatory to drive on the motorway and costs CHF40. These can be bought at the border controls or petrol stations.
The nearest train station is Sion where numerous shuttle buses take you up to the resort. There are direct trains to Sion from France, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
