Vercorin Ski Resort Guide & Reviews Ski Area, Apres-Ski, Children, Things to Do & See in Vercorin
Resort Review
Vercorin sits in a natural sun trap at 1334m over looking Val d'Anniviers and is easily accessible from the valley via the cable car in Chalais. The village can also be reached in 7 minutes via the Chalais cable car.
It is a lovely family friendly alpine ski resort that is full of charm and tradition. Like Grimentz further up the valley, Vercorin is blessed with wonderful reminders of the old days - the raccards (granaries) and many chalets are so old, the wood used to build them has blackened over time creating a mystical atmosphere.
Après-ski
The night life can be as relaxed or as lively as you want to make it with a choice of several restaurants and bars. The Le Buvette du Lavioz is a popular hangout after the slopes and for evening fun, the Godille bar has good music and stays open until late in the season.
