The Creux du Lavioz is a sportive area situated in the village. Beginners can enjoy gentle slopes without having to take the cable car. The area also includes an ice-skating rink and snowtubing.

Vercorin is also known as being a great family ski resort and the charm and authenticity of the village will take you back in time. Like many villages in the Val d'Anniviers such as Grimentz, the raccards (granaries), chalets and barns look like they were built in medieval times.
