Sestriere lies at the heart of the Milkyway area close to the Italian - French border and just an hour from Turin.

By plane

The closest main international airport is Turin although there are several other options including Milan, Genoa, Geneva and Nice.

By car

Driving to Sestriere is straight forward with Italy's efficient motorway network. If you are driving from the Valle d'Aosta (A5 motorway), Lombardy (A4 and A21) or Liguria (A26-A21 and A6)areas, you need to head towards Turin where you will pick up the A55 ring road. From there, the A32 takes you stright in to the mountains where Sestriere is clearly sign-posted.

By train

The closest train station is at Oulx just 5 km from Sauze d'Oulx, and is served daily by many high-speed trains on the Rome - Lyon - Paris route. From Oulx,its just 21km and takes around 25 minutes by taxi.
