Pralognan Ski Holidays Skiing & Snowboarding Vacations in Pralognan, Tarentaise
Overview
Ski holidays in Pralognan - sitting at the end of the Tarentaise Valley between Courchevel and La Plagne is the very pretty and charming village of Pralognan la Vanoise.
Not a large resort by any means but it is packed with character and has the envious position of being the gateway to the largest ice cap in the French Alps that offers some classic ski touring opportunities for good off-piste skiers.
Beginners have several nursery slopes in the village whilst intermediates will have fun exploring the forest trails. Off the slopes, Pralognan has a good selection of bars and fine restaurants serving up local lishes from Savoie.

Our view on Pralognan ski holidays
Skiing in Pralognan is not really on the radar yet largely because many skiers tend to head for the large ski carousels year after year such as the Portes du Soleil or Espace Killy thats home to Val d'Isere and Tignes.
However, for those in the know, ski holidays in Pralognan offers great family skiing on well groomed uncrowded piste plus some classic ski tours around the Grande Casse and Vanoise national park. In a nutshell, its an authentic and very welcoming ski resort set within pristine natural beauty and a firm favourite with families.
