Ordino's main ski area is Arcalis and close by are the lift connected resorts of Pal and Arinsal. Together, they provide 93km of piste of which 48 trails are graded blue and red - ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

As well as the piste map trails, Arcalis offers some excellent freeriding terrain for good off-piste skiers and boarders. To get the best out of the area, hiring a local guide is highly recommended.

For the more adventerous, heli-skiing is another option where you can experience 1000m vertical descents around L’Hortell peak and Creussans in the Arcalis sector.
