Skiing in Moena is an experience you will cherish forever with the towering 3000m peaks of the Dolomites surrounding this beautiful ski resort.
TheAlpe Lusia-San Pellegrino area is just a few minutes from Moena and is generally quieter than the Canazei sector yet has extensive trails totalling 100kms.
Overall, the Val di Fassa ski area is massive and you'll definitely need your piste map if you intend to go ski touring which is highly recommended.
One look at the Moena piste map shows the scale of the ski area in Val di Fassa. In addition to the Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrin sector, there are 120kms of pistes and 136 trails serviced by 59 lifts in Canazei - Campitello and thats before you start to consider touring the Sella Ronda.
The Sella Ronda is one of the best loved days out and involves a 24km tour of the Sella Massif. You can join the circuit in Canazei and can go clockwise or anti-clockwise with the whole tour normally taking a full day.
