By plane

Airport transfers from Milan Linate to Madesimo take around a 2 1/2 hours drive. Other airport transfers are from Milan Malpensa and Bergamo airports which take an extra 30 mins.

By car

If you are coming for a summer holiday and arriving from Austria, another scenic route in to Madesimo is via The Stelvio Pass which is the second highest mountain pass in Europe at 2757m.

Unfortunately, this is only open during the summer when the snow has melted so if you are coming for ski holidays in Madesimo, you will need to access the resort from either the Swiss or Italian routes.
