How to get to Champoluc
By plane
The closest airport to Champoluc is Turin with airport transfer times of around 90 minutes. Alternatively, there are airport transfers from Geneva and Milan to Champoluc but these take an extra hours drive.
By train
The nearest railway station is Verres where you can catch a bus up the valley to Champoluc village.
By car
Driving to Champoluc is relatively straight forward. Once on the A5 Torino-Aosta motorway, take the exit sign-posted Verres and then take the regional highway SR45 to Champoluc. The journey time is around 90 minutes. From France, you need to follow the directions to Chamonix - Mont Blanc and head through the tunnel. Once on the Italian side, you pass Courmayeur on the A5 before taking the Verres exit.
Regional highway SR45 is a fantastic drive if you enjoy winding roads with hairpin bends. It leads through a series of villages including the pretty town of Brusson and the local ski area of Estoul before arriving at Champoluc.
