Off Piste Ski Guiding & Touring

To experience the full extent of what Champéry and the Portes du Soleil region has to offer, why not try some off-piste ski touring. Expert local guides will navigate you around the high mountain trails in safety taking you on an adventure to remember. There are endless possibilities for ski touring given that there are 12 resorts that make up the Portes du Soleil circuit on the Franco-Swiss border. The local ski schools or mountain guides will be able to help you choose the most appropriate ski tour.

Les Dents du Midi ski tour

This is a classic and challenging off-piste tour rising upto 2882m where you need to be fit and a very good skier. You typically stay overnight in the Dents du Midi hut for some well deserved rest. For the descents, you have a choice of 4 impressive couloirs including the North Couloir of the Breche Du Doigts and the 600m long Dent Jaune Couloir.

Les Dents Blanches guided ski tour

Starting from Champéry in the Giffre massif, this ski tour, known as the tour of the "White Teeth", takes you around the majestic peaks on the Franco-Swiss border that includes the Dent de Barme that reaches up to 2,759m. It generally takes around 6 days to complete the 44km loop staying overnight in the mountain huts.
