A-Basin boasts varied terrain, an average annual snowfall of 350 inches and one of the longest ski seasons in North America normally starting in October and running through to early June. There are steep chutes, wide-open powder bowls for advanced skiers, spruce glades for intermediates and children friendly learning areas.

The base station has several bars and restaurants for some on the mountain apres-ski. After this, the local towns provide the evening entertainment with an extensive selection of eateries, bars and clubs.
