How to get to Alleghe
By plane - airport transfers
Ski holidays in Alleghe - with airport transfers from Venice airport to Alleghe taking around 60 minutes depending upon the traffic and weather conditions, this ski resort is easy to get to. Alternatively, Treviso is just 149 km away with airport transfer times of approximately 90 minutes most of which is by motorway straight from the airport.
By car
Coming from Venice, the best route is to take the A27 Mestre-Belluno motorway and come off at Belluno. Follow the SS 203 "Agordina" main road all the way to Alleghe. If you are driving from Germany or Austria coming over the A22 Brennero pass, take the exit Bressanone and head towards Brunico, then follow the signs for Alta Badia. You can then get to Alleghe by either going over the Pass Campolongo and through Arabba or by taking the Pass Valparola and then Pass Falzarego in the direction of Selva di Cadore - Val di Zoldo - Alleghe.
Austrian motorways
If you intend to drive on the Austrian motorways, don't forget to buy the Austrian road tax sticker "Vignette" as it's against the law to drive on the motorways without one. You can buy one at the airport or at petrol stations. There are 3 type of sticker: 10-days, 2-months and 1-year.
By train
If you are ravelling by train to Alleghe, the closest station is at Belluno which really isn't that close at 100km away. You can get transfers from the station but these are expensive so your best option is rent a car or take a bus.
