Resort Reviews
Tremblant is a lovely pedestrianised ski resort at the base of the mountain sitting at 875m. Not as high as many resorts but when you are in this part of Canada, the lack of snow is rarely a problem.
Après-ski
Tremblant delivers a lively and entertaining apres-ski scene with plenty of pubs, bars and even a casino in the newer Versant Soleil base village. And, with over 75 restaurants to choose from with Canadian - French cuisine on the menu, you'll be in for a treat.
Families
Tremblant has a reputation for being family friendly and its easy to see why. The Kidz Club by Sommet des Neiges hotel, in the pedestrian village, caters for children aged between 1 and 6 years and for the older ones, they will love the tubing park and the adventure area on the Nansen trail. Kimberlee Care offer a baby sitting - nanny service.

Mount Tremblant ski area guide
With 95 trails spread across 654 acres, Tremblant has ample terrain to keep any skier or rider entertained for a weeks ski holiday. The ski area covers each side of the mountain with the base lift on the backside dropping down to 390m. Overall, the marked trails are roughly split in to 17% beginner, 33% intermediate and 50% for advanced and experts.
Beginners
Absolute beginners have a 2 acre area to learn the basic before heading up the mountain.
As with many Canadian ski resorts, beginners can ski pretty much anywhere on the mountain as at the top of many lifts, there are green pistes that bring you gently back to the resort again.
One of the many reasons why families like skiing at Tremblant. Its also a good escape route for anyone if the fog suddenly engulfs the mountain which as all skiers know, can happen quickly.
Intermediate
Both the south and north side of Tremblant is excellent for intermediate skiers or boarders with long cruising blue runs and many through the gladed areas of the lower forests.
Advanced
Around hald the pistes are geared towards advanced skiers with the main area being at Versant Soleil on the south side and accessed via the Edge chairlift. There are some cracking steep tree runs but ideally, these need fresh snow to make them more fun.
Cross-country
Nordic skiing is based in the Domaine Saint-Bernard area with 75km of groomed trails through woods, forests, open meadows, lakes and along the spectacular Devil’s River. Plus, there are a few trails at the top of the mountain giving spectacular views of Lac Tremblant.
