How to get to St Gervais
Ski holidays in St Gervais - a very accessible resort with airport transfers from Geneva to St Gervais taking just under one hour. Airport transfers are also possible fromm Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery.
By plane
The closest international airport to St Gervais is Geneva. If you are hiring a car, you have the choice of hiring from the French or Swiss side. The French side is cheaper but you will have to pay the Swiss motorway road tax of CHF40.
By car
Follow the signs for France and Chamonix from Geneva airport - it is practically motorway all the way until the last 8km when you exit the Autoroute Blanche at Le Fayet before the short climb up to the resort.
By train
There are direct trains from Geneva to Le Fayet which is the base train station for the Tramway du Mont Blanc that takes you up to St Gervais before continuing up to Nid Aigle which is the start of one of the many popular hiking routes.
