By plane

The nearest airports are Kuusamo or Rovaniemi and from there, you can get an airport transfer by bus to Salla. Kuusamo airport offers a return transfer to Salla for nearly all Finnair and Blue1 flights.

By car

If your journey starts in Helsinki, its just under 1000km to Salla and is a holiday in itself if you take your time and stop over on route. The scenery is spectacular passing countless lakes and fells.

By train

The nearest train station is at Kemijärvi and from there you can catch a transfer bus to the ski resort.
