Saariselkä is one of the most northern ski resorts in the world deep inside the Arctic Circle and close to the Russian border. It is a very popular year-round holiday village which offers winter and summer activities that you will never have tried before such as reindeer safaris, snowmobiling and not forgetting a visit to Santa's grotto.
Surrounded by pristine forests this is as rugged as it gets and is an all year round adventure playground that has something for everyone. During the winter months, snow is pretty much guaranteed and there are pistes to suit all levels and abilities. If you don't fancy skiing, the snowmobile safaris are a firm favourite.
