Summer holidays in Port Camargue, just 15km from the centre of Montpellier in the south of france in the region known as "Camargue" and next door to Le Grau du Roi, are full of fun for all the family with superb beaches, restaurants and spectacular countryside.
Set in the Rhone delta with lagoons everywhere, Port Camargue with it's spectacular marina, is fortunate to be in one of the sunniest parts of France with an average of 320 days sunshine per year with summer temperatures reaching the low thirties.
All around the marina, there are cafes, restaurants and bars and during the peak summer months, there are several beach clubs where you can chill out in style. There is also a market selling local produce which is great for food shopping if you are staying in self catering villa or apartment.

Most of the accommodation is within walking distance to the centre where there is a good selection of bars and restaurants. However, having a car makes it much easier to get around and visit the nearby villages to sample some of the other local cuisines.
