Getting to Oetz at the entrance of the Ötztal Valley is easy whether you are coming by plane, train or car.

By plane & airport transfer

The closest main international airport is Innsbruck with transfers to Oetz taking around 45 minutes with straight forward directions. There are several airport transfer companies such as Ski Lifts or you can book the convenient Ötztal Shuttle pick-up service from the airport right to your holiday destination.

By car

The drive to Oetz is straight forward with motorways nearly all the way there. However, once you hit the B roads in the resort, be prepared to get your snow chains on as the roads can get treacherous after a snowfall.

Driving from Munich takes around 2 1/2 hours via Innsbruck. Take the exit 123 sign-posted Ötzta on the A12 and then the B186 which takes you straight to the resort.

By train

From Innsbruck airport, you can catch a train to Ötztal Bahnhof at the entrance to the valley and from their jump on the regional bus or take a taxi to Oetz - the journey takes under 10 minutes.
