How to get to La Clusaz
Getting to La Clusaz is easy no matter what mode of transport you use. This ski resort, in the Massif des Aravis between Lake Annecy and Chamonix has to be one of the most accessible around and ideal if you are travelling with a young family where lengthy transfers can be a nightmare.
By plane
The closest main international airport is Geneva with transfers to La Clusaz taking around 50 minutes to cover the 50km.
By car
Driving to La Clusaz is straiht forward whether you are coming from the Geneva or Lake Annecy side. From Geneva, you take the A 40 (Autoroute Blanche) and exit at junction 16 for Bonneville and then follow the signs for La Clusaz / Stations des Aravis. Basically a 20km scenic drive once you leave the motorway.
From the South, head towards Annecy on the A41 Motorway and exit at Annecy Nord. Follow the directions to Thônes / Stations des Aravis and after 30 km, you will be in La Clusaz.
By train
The nearest train station is Annecy and from there, a 30 minute taxi or transfer bus will have you to the resort. The TGV station at Annecy connects with the Eurostar service to Paris and London's Waterloo train station.
