Skiing in Kappl- the Kappl piste map shows 9 lifts and over 40km of piste making it a great beginner and family ski resort. It has invested in providing good infrastructure with modern comfortable chairlifts, many having the all weather snow domes.
This resort offers a variety of winter sports activities including skiing, ski touring, ski safaris, ski hiking, snowboarding and cross country ski trails.
For the advanced skiers, the 15 minute bus ride to Ischgl should be your destination with lots of challenging terrain. And, being on the Swiss border, you can also ski down in to the charming duty free Swiss resort of Samnaun for some lunch and light shopping. Howver, its the ski safaris that attract the advanced skiers to this area, touring up past 3000m on the glaciers.
