Resort Review
Ski holidays in Kandersteg - sitting at 1200m in the Kander valley - close to Lake Thun near Interlaken, Kandersteg is an authentic and sophisticated Swiss ski resort in the Bernese-Oberland.
Off the radar for most downhillers but high on the list for those who enjoy the peace of cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. Ideally positioned at the northern end of the car-train Lötschberg Tunnel which connects to the Lötschen Valley on the south side in to canton of Valais, Kandersteg is easy to get to.
Wellness & spa

The apres-ski is distinctly on the quieter side where the focus is on quality - the bars and restaurants are very friendly and welcoming and you will not have to book a few days in advance like in some ski resorts.
