By plane

Airport transfers from Sion to Grimentz take approximately 40 minutes to cover the 20km up the mountain road. Alternatively, airport transfers from Geneva to Grimentz are 195km away and takes around 2 hours most of which is by motorway straight from the airport.

By car

Driving up the Rhone valley on the E62 until you reach Sierre where you exit and start the climb up the mountain. Be aware though that the road up from the Rhone Valley is far from straight!! It winds up the side of the mountain for about 18km, with some parts single track which makes it interesting when a coach is coming the other way. However, you do get that feeling of achievement when you actually arrive!!
