Off the mountains, the apres-ski is centrered around the tiny Spittal of Glenshee hotel bar or in Braemar, where you will find a good but small selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

In a nutshell, Glenshee ski holidays are not that well known outside of the UK and consequently, the slopes are fairly quiet midweek, with the exception of school holidays, meaning minimal lift queues and an uncrowded base station cafe.
