How to get to Fiesch
Fiesch is one of those easy-to-get-to resorts whether you are coming by plane, train or car.
By plane
The nearest international airport is Sion which is only 73km away and takes around 1 hour to drive to the village. Sion is largely served by regional airlines but is getting more popular with carrriers.

By car
From within Switzerland, pick up the A9 motorway that runs from Lausanne taking you along the side of Lake Geneva. Head towards Visp passing Montreux, Martigny and Sion on the way. Once at Visp, its 27kms to the village. To reach Fiescheralp up at 2,212m and the gateway to the slopes, you will need to leave your car at the base cable car station as its a car free resort the same as Bettmeralp and Riederalp.

Once at Brig, you need to change to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) train and take this to Fiesch. The train station at Betten is also the base station for the cable car up to Bettmeralp. Train information can be found at www.cff.ch
