Ski holidays in Arosa - a picturesque resort at 1800m sitting at the end of the Schanfigg valley . A quaint all year round family resort but, don't be fooled by it's quaintness! Arosa punches well above it's weight when it comes to the skiing and apres-ski. A lively, sporty and fun ski resort is how we would describe Arosa.
Après-Ski
Arosa can be as lively or as relaxing as you want to make it. There are 7 bars, 35 restaurants, 15 cafes and 4 discos / nightclubs for those of you who want to party until the early hours.
Wellness & spa
Arosa has a deep history of well-being and today, many of Arosa's hotels have superb modern spas to relax in, many of which are open to non-residents.

Ski holidays in Arosa - Arosa has managed to retain its authentic character despite the increase in tourism but at the same time, has invested in the infrastructure giving a fast and efficient lift system. There are now 225km of groomed pistes as well as 30km of freeriding thanks to the new lift connecting Lenzerheide to Arosa.
The amount of skiing has almost trippled from the old 70km to a massive 225kms of linked runs. Lenzerheide is also a fantastic family ski resort and has Europe’s longest toboggan run in Churwalden.

Beginners
For the complete beginner, you will start your skiing career at Pratschli before progressing to the blue slopes of Tschuggen and Hornli.
Further up the mountain, near the mid-station of the Montana gondola, there are more gentle slopes to try out and up there, you get a better feeling of what skiing is all about.
Intermediate
Arosa is well suited to intermediate skiers and boarders with plenty of cruising opportunities and some long steep reds. One of the best runs is the long blue from Bruggerhorn to Obersee.
The 12km run from Plaine Morte to Les Barzettes starts with stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn and ends up in the forest.
Advanced
There are only a few on-piste blacks but don't worry about that - the off-piste is fantastic especially if you want to head off into the back-country and ski to Davos or Lenzerheide.
Snowboard
There is one snow park that is equipped for beginners and experts.
