- Adge town is worth wandering around especially for the weekend market
- About 8km from Agde is the lovely resort of Sète and known as the Venice of Languedoc with all the rivers. Apart from the bustling port, the other highlight is the walk to the top of Mont saint-Clair (183m) where you can see as far as the Pyrenees
- Just over a two hour drive is the historical city of Montpellier with a good selection of museums and galleries
